This Privacy Policy explains how Kinga Wanesa LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit kingawanesa.com, subscribe to our emails, or interact with our content — including if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

2. What data we collect

Website use and hosting (IONOS). When you visit this site, our hosting provider processes server log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages accessed, date/time of access, and error logs. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and detect abuse.

Email and newsletter sign-up (Mailchimp). If you opt in to our newsletter, podcast updates, or free episode delivery, we collect the data you submit — typically your name and email address, plus subscription metadata (sign-up date, tags, open/click activity where enabled).

Contact by email. If you email us, we process your email address, message content, and any information you choose to provide.

Purchases through third parties. Powerhouse SELLS is sold on sales.vapacademy.com (VA Powerhouse Academy). We do not receive your payment card details from that checkout. VA Academy’s privacy policy applies to that transaction. Products sold via ThriveCart on our behalf are processed by ThriveCart; their privacy policy applies at checkout.

Cookies and similar technologies. This site may use technically necessary cookies (e.g. session, security, consent). Third-party services embedded on the site (hosting, email tools, checkout links) may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

3. Why we use your data and legal bases (GDPR)

• Newsletter / marketing emails — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
• Website operation and security — legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Responding to inquiries — legitimate interest and/or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

4. How long we keep data

Server logs are retained by IONOS for a limited period defined by the host. Mailchimp retains subscriber data until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Emails we receive are kept as long as needed to handle your request and comply with legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized where possible.

5. Who receives your data

We use trusted processors who handle data on our instructions:

• IONOS — website hosting
• Mailchimp (Intuit) — email marketing and automation
• VA Powerhouse Academy / sales.vapacademy.com — course sales and fulfillment (when you purchase via our referral link)
• ThriveCart — checkout for applicable digital products

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States. Mailchimp, IONOS, and other providers may process data in the US or other countries outside the EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are used by those providers.

7. Your rights

If GDPR applies, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell personal information).

8. Children

Our services are directed at adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No online transmission is 100% secure; you provide information at your own risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
